IT Compliance Specialist (All genders)

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT Compliance, IT Risk, IT Audit, Internal Controls, Information Security Governance or related areas.
• Experience supporting or coordinating internal and external IT audits.
• Good understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), risk management principles, and compliance frameworks.
• Working knowledge of standards/frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOX, NIS2 or equivalents.
• Experience assessing control effectiveness, identifying compliance gaps, and driving remediation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and communicate effectively to different audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize activities, and manage stakeholders across organizations.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and SharePoint.

Nice to have:

• Experience with GRC platforms such as ServiceNow GRC or similar.
• Experience with automation and process improvement tools like Power Automate, Power Platform, UiPath or similar.

• Manage planning and execution of the DBS IT Compliance activities across DBS.
• Challenge internal customers to deliver high quality reports and control evidence on time.
• Act as a SME on IT Compliance and IT General Controls, maintaining relationships with stakeholders such as Internal Audit and Global Security.
• Evaluate results of IT controls testing including assessment of control deficiencies.
• Coordinate IT internal control walkthroughs and testing.
• Ensure Control Owners identify and evaluate process/control changes and update IT general controls accordingly.
• Identify gaps and areas for improvement in the IT Compliance Program and recommend improvements.
• Support review of standards, processes, and procedures related to policies.
• Drive remediation efforts with control owners to address compliance gaps and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Maintain metrics and KPIs to monitor IT Compliance program health and effectiveness.
