Product Owner/Business Analyst

Unravel S.A. is developing a next-generation ERP and Accounting platform.

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Product Owner or 3–5 years in a similar Business Analyst/Product Owner role within a Scrum environment.
• Proven experience delivering complex IT/software products, preferably in ERP, accounting, or finance.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and full software/product development lifecycle.
• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed development teams.
• Proven collaboration with multiple SMEs such as accountants, finance controllers, and auditors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Hands-on experience creating high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
• Strong prioritization and decision-making skills including managing trade-offs and decisions under uncertainty.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining transparency and stakeholder alignment.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps and Miro.
• Proficiency in using AI tools in daily work.
• Familiarity with UX principles and user-centered product development.
• Understanding of API-based systems and integrations within ERP ecosystems.
• Data-driven approach to product development and decision-making.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on domain experience with ERP or Accounting systems.
• Understanding of core accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping, period-end close, and multi-entity reporting.
• Familiarity with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) as a collaborative approach.
• Professional certification such as CBAP, PSPO, or equivalent.

• Work closely with finance and accounting SMEs to define and scope upcoming implementation phases.
• Translate business needs and complex domain requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
• Understand, communicate, and support the client's product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, customer needs, technical constraints, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Build alignment across diverse stakeholders and drive decisions that enable the team to move forward.
• Collaborate closely with client, development team, UX/UI, QA, and Scrum Master/Project Manager throughout the product lifecycle.
• Accept or reject completed work based on agreed criteria and business expectations.
• Support testing and validation processes to ensure functionality and quality.
• Introduce new product domains and phases using Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and structured examples.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, demos, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Identify and manage dependencies and proactively mitigate delivery risks.
• Report on delivered work and communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Use data, customer feedback, and KPIs to identify and drive product improvements.
