Senior Business Analyst - Digital Assets

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst with at least 2 years on crypto, digital asset, or blockchain-based products
• Proven experience writing detailed functional specifications for technical products such as API integrations, transaction systems, or payment flows
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals including networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, stablecoins, transaction confirmation models, and fees
• Experience documenting integrations with custody providers or crypto payment processors (e.g., Fireblocks, BitGo)
• Knowledge of crypto-specific compliance including AML/KYT screening, Travel Rule, and frameworks like MiCA
• Familiarity with API documentation, webhooks, idempotency, and asynchronous processing
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data mapping, process modeling, and edge-case analysis
• Fluency in English (B2 level)
• Experience in fintech, brokerage, exchange, or regulated high-risk environments is an advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences

• Own the analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements for digital asset transaction flows, from pre-analysis through detailed functional specifications
• Produce clear, complete, and testable specifications (SRS, user stories, acceptance criteria) for transaction lifecycles, account management, and third-party integrations
• Analyse and document integration requirements for custody providers, financial infrastructure vendors, and payment processors, including API contracts, webhooks, and error handling
• Map end-to-end transaction flows including edge cases and failure modes
• Translate AML/KYT, Travel Rule, and jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements into functional requirements with Compliance and Legal
• Define data requirements and reporting needs to support reconciliation, monitoring, and regulatory reporting
• Support Engineering during delivery: clarify requirements, assess change impact, and validate delivered functionality
• Contribute to UAT planning and execution including vendor sandbox testing
• Maintain product documentation in Confluence and manage requirements in Jira according to department standards
• Mentor other Business Analysts and contribute to raising specification standards across the department
