Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java, Kotlin, Vue.js, AWS)

We are a joint venture between OBI and Reply Group, responsible for co-designing, building and operating mission-critical digital platforms for commerce, customer service, and omnichannel retail. Our mission is to unite technology leadership with deep retail vision to implement standardized processes and scalable digital products that drive efficient support for one of Europe’s largest DIY retailers, advancing product internationalization and the digital mindset of partners to deliver consistent and business-critical solutions.

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development delivering production systems.
• Strong experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Vue.js.
• Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Ability to contribute to architecture discussions and work across teams.
• Strong communication skills in English and Polish, with readiness for hybrid work in Katowice.

• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot, making architectural decisions and evaluating trade-offs.
• Build and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js, ensuring performance and usability.
• Design and evolve event-driven systems using Kafka and distributed architectures.
• Work with AWS cloud services and support deployment in containerized environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams on CI/CD, infrastructure, and observability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
