Software Security Engineer Backend

• Deep expertise in Python, Django, and/or Nodejs, TypeScript, NestJS.
• Experience delivering production-grade backend services.
• Knowledge of Go and modern backend development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Cloud Run, GKE, and Filestore.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform.
• Experience building scalable, secure backend applications.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust security models.
• Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authentication frameworks.
• Experience with PostgreSQL performance optimization.
• Experience with Event-Driven Architectures using PubSub.

• Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence.

• Drive Engineering Excellence initiatives across Software Security platforms.
• Deliver production-ready code and contribute directly to software development activities.
• Build scalable backend services using Python, Nodejs and modern cloud-native technologies.
• Architect solutions on GKE and optimize PostgreSQL performance for high-concurrency environments.
• Build and support event-driven architectures using PubSub.
• Own the full lifecycle of services on GCP ensuring resilience, observability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Design and manage OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authentication flows.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Promote engineering standards, quality, automation and operational excellence.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership across teams.
• Drive adoption of secure coding, automation, and cloud engineering best practices.
