Senior Agentic AI & Automation Engineer (Sustainability)

Join P&G’s Sustainability (ESG) Services organization—the trusted data and intelligence foundation helping P&G reduce its environmental footprint, enable more sustainable product and consumer choices, and scale impact through innovation. The role involves applying agentic AI, automation, data engineering, and cloud technology to sustainability challenges, turning ideas from experimentation into secure, reusable solutions used across a global enterprise.

• Strong foundations in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, automation, or cloud engineering with the ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems.
• Hands-on programming experience with commitment to clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Experience with modern data platforms, pipelines, APIs, cloud services, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Curiosity about generative and agentic AI, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies with an experimentation mindset.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills to connect technology with meaningful business and sustainability outcomes.
• Passion for continuous learning and using technology to address environmental challenges; prior ESG experience is a plus but not required.

• Design, prototype, build, and scale AI- and automation-enabled solutions for sustainability data insights and actions.
• Apply agentic AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows to climate, water, packaging, waste, nature, product lifecycle, and sustainability reporting challenges.
• Transition from retrospective sustainability reporting to proactive intelligence via anomaly detection, data quality improvement, and early issue anticipation.
• Develop trusted data models, features, quality controls, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and distributed processing to support auditable ESG reporting.
• Experiment with emerging AI models and technologies, turning effective ideas into secure, responsible, production-ready capabilities.
• Produce high-quality, tested, standards-compliant code along with reusable components and engineering practices.
• Deploy and operate cloud-native solutions leveraging modern DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and responsible engineering practices.
• Collaborate with sustainability experts, product teams, data professionals, and engineers to integrate sustainability intelligence into operational workflows.
