Lead iOS Engineer (Mobile Engineering Squad Lead)

• Extensive hands-on experience with native iOS development (ideally Swift / SwiftUI)
• Proven track record of building new mobile apps from the ground up
• Deep knowledge of iOS app architecture and clean code patterns
• Experience designing API-driven mobile experiences
• Familiarity with Location services and iOS permissions
• Experience with Push notifications / APNs
• Hands-on integration of Analytics SDKs
• Strong grasp of app performance, error handling, and accessibility basics
• Mastery of the TestFlight / App Store release process
• Experience working in multi-vendor or enterprise environments

Technical Leadership & Architecture:

• Own code quality and technical decisions inside the mobile stream
• Work closely with the solution architect to turn architecture into implementation
• Take personal responsibility for the hardest parts of the build

Team Mentorship & Squad Ownership:

• Mentor a squad of mid and senior engineers across cross-platform and native work
• Guide them through a compressed delivery timeline

Cross-Stream Collaboration:

• Act as the technical counterpart to the BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) stream
• Negotiate the contract between app and backend

AI-Driven SDLC Acceleration:

• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices naturally within the team
• Use approved AI tools to speed up code scaffolding, unit test creation, code review support, technical analysis, and delivery planning
