Senior .NET Developer

Scalo delivers software projects and supports partners in business development. They provide IT services including technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 7 years of commercial software development experience focusing on backend solutions with .NET.
• Strong practical knowledge of C# and .NET 8+.
• Very good knowledge of ASP.NET Core Web API and experience designing REST APIs.
• Experience in designing and developing complex system integrations.
• Production experience with asynchronous communication and messaging, e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, MassTransit or equivalent.
• Practical knowledge of event-driven architecture, including retry mechanisms, error handling, idempotency, and dead-letter queues.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
• Experience designing solutions using DDD, CQRS, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience in developing distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Experience with enterprise systems with complex domain logic, multiple integrations, or large data volumes.
• Practical knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and containerized environments.
• Ability to independently lead solutions from analysis and technical design through implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Practical use of GitHub Copilot, LLM models, or other AI tools in daily development.
• English language proficiency at minimum B1 level.
• Ability to actively collaborate with technical teams, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing or developing workflow/BPM processes.
• Knowledge of BPMN, Webcon, Camunda, or similar platforms.
• Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with financial or complex enterprise business logic systems.
• Active development of technical competencies through training, certifications, personal projects, or technology initiatives.

• Participate in a long-term transformational project developing backend systems to support complex business processes in finance and legal.
• Develop backend solutions using C#/.NET 8+ and ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Engage in full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design solution architecture, REST APIs, and system integrations.
• Develop distributed systems with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Implement asynchronous communication and messaging using RabbitMQ, MassTransit, or Wolverine.
• Implement retry mechanisms, error handling, idempotency, and dead-letter queues.
• Develop solutions to support automation and orchestration of business processes.
• Work with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server, optimize SQL queries and data models.
• Apply DDD, CQRS, and Clean Architecture principles in solution design.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, clean code practices, architectural decision records, and standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, tech leads, and team members.
• Participate in refinement, planning, and process improvements in an Agile environment.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot and large language models for software development.
• Optionally contribute to frontend development using Angular and TypeScript.
• Work remotely with the project based in Wrocław.
