AWS Engineer (AI&Data)

The AI&Data team in Poland has over 200 specialists working with partners such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, and Snowflake to deliver data architecture and analytics solutions, supporting clients from strategy through implementation and development.

• Strong hands-on experience building solutions on AWS, including core services related to compute, storage, networking, databases, integration, and security.
• Programming skills, preferably in Python, for developing cloud-native applications, APIs, and integrations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Practical experience implementing AI/ML or Generative AI solutions on AWS, especially with Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker AI.
• Understanding of GenAI concepts and patterns such as LLMs, embeddings, vector search, RAG, and AI agents.
• Good knowledge of AWS principles for security, scalability, reliability, observability, and cost optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and collaborate with architects, teams, and stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience building components of enterprise AI Factory/GenAI Platform.
• Advanced experience with Amazon Bedrock including Knowledge Bases, Guardrails, Agents, AgentCore.
• Experience implementing production-grade RAG or agentic AI solutions.
• Experience with LLMOps/MLOps, AI monitoring, Responsible AI and security controls.
• Familiarity with Docker, Amazon ECS/EKS, Kubernetes, serverless or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with modern data platforms, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Relevant AWS certifications such as Developer, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or AI/ML related.

• Design, build and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS in collaboration with architects and engineering teams.
• Develop and integrate AI and Generative AI solutions on AWS using Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker AI, and related services.
• Contribute to building enterprise AI platforms/AI Factories providing reusable capabilities for scalable AI solutions.
• Implement GenAI patterns including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, Knowledge Bases, guardrails, and model integrations.
• Automate cloud environments and deployments with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
• Work on turning technical designs and prototypes into production-grade solutions and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Participate in POV and POC initiatives to explore new AWS and AI capabilities and contribute to reusable assets and standards.
