Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

The team specializes in delivering state-of-the-art data solutions across industries, focusing on Cloud and Big Data engineering using cloud services from AWS, Azure, and GCP, with expertise in Python, Scala, Java, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Big Data or Cloud projects managing large or unstructured datasets.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake’s pricing model and cost optimization.
• Ability to design and implement data transformation pipelines using native Snowflake features or partner services.
• Familiarity with Snowflake’s security model.
• Knowledge of at least one public cloud platform (Storage, Compute/Serverless, Networking, DevOps).
• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language: Python, Scala, Java, or Bash.
• Very good command of English.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Snowflake data pipelines supporting key business functions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and build scalable cloud solutions.
• Optimizing data models and schemas ensuring performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in Snowflake.
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security through the data lifecycle.
• Implementing monitoring and alerting mechanisms for proactive issue resolution.
• Planning and executing migrations from on-premises data warehouses to Snowflake.
• Developing solutions involving AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI aligned with business needs.
• Staying current with Snowflake best practices and emerging technologies for continuous improvement.
