Software Engineer (Spark, Databricks)

The Data & Applied Intelligence hub in Poland has over 250 specialists focusing on data architecture and analytics, collaborating with partners such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Oracle, and Snowflake to implement modern data solutions.

• 7+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Spark, Databricks, and PySpark.
• Strong development skills in Python and Java.
• Deep experience with Azure Cloud technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka architectures, and streaming data.
• Experience implementing and maintaining DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Agile environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience providing Level 3 development support in high-pressure production.
• Experience with large-scale transaction-oriented distributed systems.
• Experience in regulatory, settlement, or financial services data-processing environments.

• Design, develop, and enhance a strategic data pipeline processing inbound deal store data.
• Build and optimize high-performance, high-availability, low-latency distributed data processing.
• Develop and maintain streaming architectures leveraging Kafka and Azure cloud-native services.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to analyze technical flows and propose solutions.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments with Kubernetes.
• Support production stability by investigating and resolving complex technical issues.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to business and technology stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by independently solving technical challenges and enhancing platforms.
