Senior Python Developer & Data Engineer

• 10+ years of professional software and data engineering experience.
• Strong Python development experience with recent hands-on use of Python and PySpark.
• Previous development experience using Java and/or C#.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing ETL and data processing solutions.
• Experience working on Unix/Linux platforms and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Autosys and Oracle databases.
• Proven ability to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services including ADLS, Azure Key Vault, and Databricks.
• Professional English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Prime Brokerage, counterparty risk, margining, or post-trade risk management.
• Experience building cloud-native data platforms in financial services.
• Practical experience using AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Experience creating AI agents or automation solutions supporting engineering.

• Design and develop strategic cloud-based data solutions for Prime Brokerage client processes.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines using Python and PySpark, improving data quality and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into deliverables.
• Develop and support Azure-based data platforms utilizing Databricks, ADLS, and Azure Key Vault.
• Contribute to CI/CD initiatives and agile delivery using GitLab, Unix environments, and Shell scripting.
