Data Engineering Consultant (Cloud & AI) - ICH Europe

The role is part of the Intelligent Consulting Hub (ICH) Europe, within the Strategy & Consulting practice, operating in several Polish cities including Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, and Gdańsk. The team delivers consulting assignments across industries and geographies working with large international clients and focuses on technology strategy, cloud, data engineering, and AI.

• 1-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with parallel data processing using Apache Spark, Databricks, or Palantir Foundry.
• Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data lakes.
• Ability to communicate complex problems and solutions clearly and logically.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Databricks or Palantir Foundry (besides Apache Spark).

• Apply cloud and data engineering skills to solve client problems and design solutions.
• Propose, build, and implement big data engineering and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation of large datasets.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, and streaming services into cloud architectures.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and DevOps engineers.
