Applied Scientist (Computer Vision)

SQUAD is a distributed team developing motion detection features for both Cloud and Edge environments, focusing on high performance and adaptability for diverse deployment needs.

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning within the computer vision domain
• Practical experience in classification, detection, or segmentation problems
• Proficiency in Python3, NumPy, scikit-learn, pandas, SciPy
• Experience with deep learning frameworks, specifically PyTorch
• Experience deploying machine learning models to production
• Good understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts
• Good written and spoken English

• Develop innovative machine learning algorithms and implement advanced methods in model development
• Analyze large datasets to identify correlations and patterns, and visualize research results
• Tune hyperparameters and optimize algorithms to enhance model performance and accuracy
• Provide consultations and collaborate with colleagues from other departments
• Report progress and project achievements to management
• Explore and evaluate new machine learning technologies and implement cutting-edge ideas into production
• Engage in continuous self-improvement and technical skill development
• Train and mentor junior colleagues to enhance team competence
