Senior Python Engineer

GFT Poland operates internationally supporting projects with enterprise systems development using technologies such as Python, Django, Flask, and cloud deployment platforms. The company offers hybrid work from multiple Polish locations including Łódź, Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań, and Wrocław, with some remote work flexibility.

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Proficiency in Python (3.6 and above), Django/Flask, SQLAlchemy, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience designing and building enterprise systems including RESTful APIs, API design concepts, microservices architecture, messaging technologies like Kafka, observability tools such as ELK and Splunk, and security.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git with advanced branching and merging.
• Familiar with front-end technologies: Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes-based platforms like OpenShift Container Platform.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies: GCP.

• Build and deploy applications using standard build tools.
• Work daily in Scrum methodology.
• Advise clients on best solutions.
• Create documentation of work done.
• Report directly to the Team Leader.

Hybrid work mode from one of the company locations with 2 days per week on-site required in Łódź, Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań, or Wrocław. Candidates outside these locations preferring remote work are also considered with temporary Work From Anywhere option.
