Podsumowanie oferty

Design and steer the software architecture for Toyota’s Factory of the Future, guiding a development team building secure, scalable manufacturing applications integrated with shop-floor systems, edge platforms, data services and enterprise systems. The work focuses on microservices, IoT/edge platforms, real-time messaging and cloud/on-premise integrations.

Wymagania

8+ years in software architecture or senior engineering roles, ideally in manufacturing, industrial IT or complex distributed systems.
Strong background in microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, real-time or near-real-time data processing, secure edge/on-premise/cloud integrations, API design and data flows.
Experience with IoT/edge runtimes, real-time messaging (MQTT, AMQP, Kafka), time-series databases, backend frameworks (Java, C#, Python, Node.js) and Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform or similar infrastructure as code.
Understanding of shop-floor workflows, machine interaction patterns, operator tooling or MES-adjacent systems.
Knowledge of industrial constraints such as latency, network zoning, safety requirements and limited connectivity.
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex architectures clearly.
Ability to collaborate with hands-on engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong sense of ownership, quality and engineering discipline.
Mentoring mindset and willingness to support team growth.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree required.
English required; Polish is a plus.

Nice to have:

Experience with computer vision pipelines or edge inference.

Obowiązki

Architecture & technical leadership:

Translate the Lead Solution Architect’s manufacturing vision into actionable architecture designs for the development team.
Create system blueprints, component diagrams, API definitions, event flows and integration models.
Ensure the architecture aligns with the manufacturing platform strategy and evolving technology landscape.

Guide and support the development team:

Break down complex requirements into structured technical solutions.
Coach backend, integration and edge-focused engineers.
Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with architecture patterns, coding standards and deployment standards.

Build scalable, industrial-grade software:

Design solutions for industrial environments, taking into account real-time or near-real-time processing, connectivity limitations, high availability, redundancy and site-level deployment constraints.
Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable and easy to operate across multiple plants.

Integrate across the manufacturing technology stack:

Design integrations with IoT and edge platforms, messaging systems, manufacturing data platforms, factory applications and enterprise systems.
Define and maintain API and service boundaries, data contracts and schemas, event standards and versioning strategies.
Adhere to Manufacturing Data Governance rituals (UNS/UDT).
